‘let freedom ring’ comes from the same realm that ‘1 Peter 3:8’ does. i wanted to capture that feeling of being isolated from my family in terms of my identity compared to theirs. the central image of this photo is drab and depressing and aims to make me feel like an outsider, while also hiding my true identity. in the presentation of these photos, i combine both the suit i wear in the family photo as well as a combination of makeup from the other photos to clash the two together.
