thoughts.

‘bloodpact.’ is an exhibition that focuses on my relationship to my parents and how i feel that i am disjointed from them at times because of my identity. on the wall i place letters to both of my parents of moments in time where maybe these feelings started. i then performed myself planting a flower with potting soil and the blood of my parents that i mixed together binding them to the soil. the flower, which is symbolic of myself is then able to take root in them.
